Trials and testing are a part of life for us all. Once again, we don’t get to choose what we have to face, but I want you to know we do get to choose how we respond to what comes. The Lord has provided us with faith…but faith that is not used, faith that is not biblical, faith that does not drive us to believe what God says, faith that doubts that the Lord can do what He promises, is useless and dead. We cannot leave our faith on the pages of the Bible, or merely in our doctrinal statements. Trails and testing are real, life’s troubles are real, and our faith needs to be just a real to us. We need to take it off the page and walk as people of faith in the One who is the lover of our souls, the One who gives every good and perfect gift to those He loves, the One who will never leave or forsake us regardless of the situation and circumstances of life. Biblical faith does and will enable us to endure trials.
