NOVEMBER 20 READING…EZEKIEL 48 & ACTS 9
As the book of Ezekiel ends, we read how all things are as they should be on earth. Messiah has returned and set up His millennial kingdom. Notice that Israel is once again a united nation under God. The misnomer of “the lost tribes” of Israel has been rectified. We have the tribes back in the land of God’s promise, each identifiable…and with their borders intact. We can know for a certainty that God will always do what He has declared. The earth is the Lord’s, and He established borders and boundaries. He raises us kings and kingdoms, and He brings them down. When Messiah sets up His Millennial kingdom there is no one that can bring it down. In Acts 9 we have the miraculous salvation of Saul, who now is Paul. I know we are all amazed at just how miraculous Saul’s conversion was, but let me say that your conversion to faith is no less miraculous. You see, everyone who is born-again has experienced the greatest personal miracle the world has ever seen. God had a plan for Paul, and He fills him with the Holy Spirit and power. God has a plan for you, and the same Holy Spirit lives in you. Immediately, Paul begins proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus, and using his testimony to speak of the greatness of God. We are called to do the same thing. Has Jesus saved you? Tell somebody…tell everybody. I guarantee we have no greater news, or message to communicate with anyone, other than this wonderful Gospel of salvation. We continue to see Peter walking in the power of God…as the Lord through Peter heals Aeneas and raises Dorcas from the dead. There is no other place for us to walk other than in the power of God…what happens then belongs to God, but I guarantee to you it will be great.
