DECEMBER 18, 19, & 20 READING…REVELATION 15-17
I apologize for combining these three days…my schedule has been really crazy. Teresa and I appreciate all your prayers. Chapter 15 tells us that all of heaven is preparing for the final series of God’s judgments to fall on the earth and all those who have rejected Jesus. In Chapter 16, seven angels begin to pour out the bowls of God’s wrath. The world believes it can stand against God and His holiness…they are about to find out that they cannot. The first bowl is poured out…this brings loathsome sores upon all those who have the mark of the beast. The second bowl is poured out…this turns the sea to blood and every living creature in the sea dies. The third bowl is poured out…the rivers and springs of water turn to blood. The fourth bowl is poured out…the sun’s heat becomes intense, scorching the people on the earth, they begin to blaspheme God. The fifth bowl is poured out…darkness falls on the kingdom of the beast, and pain causes people to chew on their own tongues. The sixth bowl is poured out…the great river Euphrates dries up, and three foul spirits, they are demon spirits, and they draw the kings of the earth toward Armageddon. The seventh bowl is poured out…the declaration from heaven comes, “it is done”. The whole earth is shaken, 75-pound hail stones fall on the earth, no islands or mountains remain. Chapter 17 tells us of the fate of the apostate church of the tribulation. This church has compromised with the Antichrist and has even killed genuine followers of Christ at the behest of the Antichrist. She is the ultimate religious sell out…she is the great harlot. She claims to be a church, but she knows nothing but blasphemy, abominations, and the killing of the true servants of God. As she has played the harlot with the Antichrist, when he is through with her, he will cast her aside and she will be destroyed. The religious institution of the tribulation will be no more…her vile nature and opposition to God will bring her total annihilation. Get ready…don’t be left behind…don’t tempt God with your unbelief…don’t assume you still have time…trust Jesus now, while you still have time.
