April 2 DEVOTIONAL BIBLE READING: 1 CORINTHIANS 15:1-11

The truth of the Resurrection leaves no room for neutrality...you can never say it doesn't matter, that it makes no difference. When it comes to truth people have five approaches...they are apathetic to the truth...they reject the truth...they adapt the truth to fit their life and comfort...they intentionally pervert the truth and make it false...or they accept the truth. The final reality is that real truth is truth, regardless of what is said about it. I have heard some say, "well the Resurrection is your truth, but I have my own truth"...no you don't. Something does not become truth because we say it is true; truth stands on its own!

Truth is not up for a vote by the majority to determine its legitimacy. If no one believed in God...God is still God. If no one believed that Jesus is Lord...He is still Lord of all. If everyone rejected the Resurrection of Jesus Christ...He still rose from the grave. The arrogance of people who believe they can stand in the face of God's truth and say, "I don't believe, so it's not so.” The day is going to come when every atheist will declare from their own lips that Jesus is Lord, when every apostate who has intentionally perverted God's Word will declare that it is true, when every denier of the Resurrection will see the living Lord Jesus. We cannot straddle the fence when it comes to truth, we must believe it, we must live it, and we must declare it unapologetically.
